Due to limited data available on the experience of small businesses, specifically, Asian-, Black-, Hispanic- and Native-owned small businesses, Reimagine Main Street, an initiative of Public Private Strategies (PPS), partnered with the Asian/Pacific Islander American Chamber of Commerce and Entrepreneurship (National ACE), the US Black Chambers, Inc. (USBC), and the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC), to conduct the largest survey to date of business owners of color on the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on their businesses.
Reimagine Main Street kicked off Black History Month by holding a discussion on the importance of black small businesses and what we can do to ensure equity prevails as the nation's economy recovers from the pandemic.
Small Business Policy Priorities in the Wake of the Election
Small businesses and their workers must rebound from the COVID-19 crisis so that communities thrive and the benefits ripple throughout the economy. We are a multi-stakeholder, cross-sector initiative focused on advancing and uplifting innovative solutions to ensure that Main Street is at the center of our recovery.
